Michael R. Souza

Michael R. Souza has 20 years of diverse experience in many facets of healthcare, from finance to executive leadership to government reporting.

Mr. Souza comes to Landmark from the Hospital Association of Rhode Island (HARI), a statewide trade organization assisting member hospitals through advocacy, education and representation. He joined HARI in 2009 as Senior Vice President, and became President in 2014. In this capacity, Mike developed an expertise of today's complex healthcare landscape that is second to none.

Adding further dimension to Mr. Souza's appointment is his history with Landmark. From January of 2001 until March of 2007, he served in multiple capacities – among them, Director of Financial Planning, System Reimbursement, Contracting and Revenue Analysis. He began his career as a Training Consultant with Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare in Quincy, Massachusetts.

Mike Souza earned his B.A. degree from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, and his Master's degree in Management from Bridgewater State College in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. His first day at Landmark will be on March 27th.

Kathy Keeling, RN joined RHRI in 2004 as inpatient coordinator/nurse manager before being promoted to director of nursing. She has an extensive background in bedside nursing, as well as in nursing administration. In addition to earning her degree as a registered nurse, she also holds special certification as a rehabilitation registered nurse and as a legal nurse consultant.

Dr. Khin Sein Yin , M. D.

Dr. Khin Sein Yin graduated from the Institute of Medicine (1), Yangon, Myanmar in December 1982. She completed her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency program at Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood, Illinois and went to the Puget Sound VA Hospital/University of Washington, Seattle, Washington in 1999 for her Spinal Cord Injury Medicine fellowship. She is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Spinal Cord Injury Medicine.

Dr. Yin is the Medical Director for inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services at the Rehabilitation Hospital of Rhode Island ("RHRI"). She also manages and provides services to the outpatient clinic at the Spine Center located at RHRI. Dr. Yin's goals are to provide compassionate and excellent care for all patients, tailored to meet their individual needs, with the focus on improving their physical, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functions so that patients can return home with their families and lead a productive and good quality of life. She developed and co-leads a Parkinson's Disease support group for patients, families, and friends at RHRI.

Her areas of special interests are in stroke, spinal cord injury, Parkinson's disease, and brain injury.
