Richard R. Charest is the Chief Executive Officer of Rehabilitation Hospital of Rhode Island and the President of Landmark Medical Center. He is a graduate of Northeastern University with a B.S. in pharmacy and Bryant University with an M.B.A. in healthcare administration.

Known as a strategic, results-oriented executive and for being a visionary leader with a passion for quality, patient safety and service excellence, he has a demonstrated record of organizational leadership and success, including the development and implementation of financial and operational turnaround strategies, the development of tertiary-level programs, and negotiation of programmatic partnerships with external organizations.

A native of northern Rhode Island, he currently serves as a governing board member of the Rhode Island Chapter of the American Heart Association and an advisory board member at St. Antoine Residence. He has held board appointments at the Rhode Island Blood Center, Rhode Island Drug Utilization Review Board, Rhode Island Board of Pharmacy, and the Visiting Nurse Service of Greater Woonsocket.

Kathy Keeling, RN
joined RHRI in 2004 as inpatient coordinator/nurse manager before being promoted to director of nursing. She has an extensive background in bedside nursing, as well as in nursing administration. In addition to earning her degree as a registered nurse, she also holds special certification as a rehabilitation registered nurse and as a legal nurse consultant.

Jorge L Mayoral, M. D.
is the medical director of the inpatient rehabilitation unit at Rehabilitation Hospital of Rhode Island. He also concurrently holds the position of Attending Physiatrist at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. He is board certified from the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

He graduated from Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico in 1981 and completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Mount Sinai School of Medicine & Affiliates, New York, New York. Dr. Mayoral has significant experience as a Medical Director providing care in acute and sub-acute rehabilitation settings in such facilities as, Liberty Rehabilitation Institute and Atlantic Rehabilitation Center in New Jersey and The Brady Institute (Brain Injury Unit) in New York.

Dr. Jorge Mayoral has a particular interest in the rehabilitation of Strokes and Traumatic Brain Injuries. He is passionate about providing the highest quality of care and is committed to making a positive impact in the treatment of the patients under his care
